Weaver inks with Upstate

By Rob Gantt, Three-sport letterman Keon Middleton-Weaver of Timberland High School signed a deal to further his track and field career at USC Upstate in Spartanburg. Middleton-Weaver also played football and basketball for the Wolves. In the most recent state track and field championships, Middleton-Weaver placed fourth in the triple jump in Class AAA.

Green Accepts Band Scholarship

On the last day of school for Seniors at Timberland, Trequawon Green, signed a band scholarship at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  He will became a member of the Southern University Marching Band “Human JukeBox” in August.  The Timberland family is very proud of you Trequawon.  Good Luck and Go Wolves!!!

Timberland awards students during its annual Athletics Awards Ceremony

Timberland Athletic Department presented several awards and certificates to student athletes in its annual Athletic Awards Ceremony.  Coach Art Craig was the MC for the night ceremony.  Keith “K-Mac” McHoney was the speaker for the night.  Mr. McHoney graduated from Timberland High School in 2003 and further his career in weight lifting after graduating.

Orvin Memorial Golf Tournament set to benefit THS athletics

Proceeds benefit the Herbie Orvin Memorial Fund and Timberland High School athletics.
